The Nonconformist denominations were active in Pembrokeshire. The Calvinistic Methodist Church, formed in 1811, now known as the Presbyterian Church of Wales; adopted a presbyterian system of church government of a centralising character, in contrast with the Baptists and Congregationalists. Baptist chapels in Pembrokeshire included Pisgah Baptist Chapel, Carew; Thornton Baptist Chapel, Milford Haven; Galilee Chapel, Llangwm; Bethesda Baptist Chapel, Narberth; Soar/Star Baptist Chapel, Clydey; Llangloffan Baptist Chapel, Granston; Hill Park Baptist Chapel, Haverfordwest; Molleston Baptist Church, Narberth; Bethesda Baptist Church, Haverfordwest; Glanrhyd Baptist Church, Lampeter Velfrey; Goedwick Baptist Church, Goodwick; Bethany Baptist Chapel, Pembroke Dock; Seion Baptist Chapel, St Davids; Moriah Baptist Chapel, Marloes; Deer Park Baptist Church, Tenby; and Broad Haven Hephzibah Baptist Chapel. Congregational (later United Reformed) Churches included Trinity Congregational Church, Pembroke Dock; Albion Square Congregational Church, Pembroke Dock; Tabernacle Congregational Church, Haverfordwest; Mountain Congregational Chapel, Llanteg, Crunwear; Brynberian Congregational Church; Albany Congregational Church, Haverfordwest; Yr Hen Gapel, Maenclochog; Carvan Congregational Church; Keyston United Reformed Church; Glandwr Independent Chapel, Llanfyrnach; Rhodiad Independent Chapel, St Davids; Tabernacle Congregational Church (later United Reformed Church), Rosemarket; Tabernacle United Reformed Church, Pembroke; St Ishmaels Congregational Chapel; Crundale United Reformed Chapel; Milford Haven Tabernacle United Reformed Church; Penally Congregational/United Reformed Church; and Bethel Congregational Chapel, St Florence. Other Nonconformist denominations active included the Wesleyan Methodists, Unitarians and the Quakers (Society of Friends).
