Recorded interviews with discussion groups, individuals and leaders. The study also includes radio programme recordings and a selection of miners' strike songs, recollections and poetry. The recordings were made 1984-1986 but cover the period 1950-1986.

Administrative / Biographical History
Thestudy concentrates on the 1984-1985 Miner's Strike, giving unique vivid first-hand accounts of events during and following the strike. The study mainlyconcentrates on the views of the mining industry, leaders and miners, regarding the aftermath of the strike, and their opinions as to the outcome. The project was carried out by the University of Wales Swansea.
