An illuminated address presented to William Davies by the Calvinist Methodist Church in Charing Cross, London, in appreciation of his long service as deacon and musical conductor.

Administrative / Biographical History

William Davies, also known by his pseudonym Mynorydd, was born in Merthyr Tudful, Glamorganshire in 1826. He was a sculptor and musician and became the conductor of the Welsh Choral Society. He died in 1901. His daughter was Mary Davies, the singer.
