A register of christenings, burials and weddings conducted by David Hughes from 1857 - 1892 at various chapels including Capel Sion, Bryneglwys, Denbighshire.

Script consisting of stories of preachers, witty sayings, wise remarks, quotes from sermons etc.

Administrative / Biographical History

Rev. David Hughes, a Calvinistic Methodist minister at Bryneglwys, Denbighshire and Corwen, Merioneth died on 24 March 1893. He preached for 50 years, a total of 8092 times. He had two sons, Rev. J. Elias Hughes and Dr Medwyn Hughes, Rhuthun.
