The letters are about the riots in Rhodesia after the arrest in 1960 of the National Democratic Party leaders. Other items are a manuscript by Charles giving his reasons for joining the Rhodesian United Federal Party; and copies of speeches made in the Rhodesian High Court after his death in 1962.
