Scope and Content

Alexander Pistor, clerk, deposes that on 18 Dec 24 Charles I he surrendered, by the hands of Richard Howlett and John Warren, two customary tenements held of the manor of Snailwell. The property in question amounts to some 20 acres, and is now held by Robert Gunston in copyhold. Copy of court roll, examined by William Percivall, steward. Endorsed: 'Cambridge No 5'.
