Administrative / Biographical History
A History of the Parish of Hawarden (1945) was written by W. Bell Jones who was clerk of the Flintshire parish from 1943 to 1945. According to his son, H. E. Jones, who has written a note at the back of the final volume, the author was unable to complete the work because of failing eyesight and ill health.
