Administrative / Biographical History

Douglas D. Jones (b. 1886 in Colchester) was educated at Pembroke College, Cambridge. A solicitor, he was visiting clients near Gotha at the outbreak of War and was held British Civil Prisoner of War, interned at Ruhleben, 1914-1918, living in Barrack No. 11.
