Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
The group was formed to improve library and information services to trade unions and their members. It was described as dormant in 1992 (see MSS.397/6) but still had funds in its bank account in 1995 when the possibility of reviving it was considered (see MSS.397/5). It issued a newsletter and organised workshops and meetings. Roger Backhouse was its secretary during the period covered by these records.
