Administrative / Biographical History
The United Reformed Church came into being in 1972 as a result of a union between the Presbyterian Church of England, the Congregational Union and the Churches of Christ. Previously the Presbyterians and the Congregationalists had in some years worshipped together and in others worshipped apart.
