Scope and Content

Two poems, one being an elegy to the late R. G. Pritchard, Garreg Wen, Pen-y-groes. Also, a note-book of jokes used by Llifon in his capacity as Eisteddfod conductor.

Administrative / Biographical History

William Griffith Owen, 1857 - 1922, was a Baptist minister, a poet and an excellent Eisteddfod conductor. He was known by his bardic name, Llifon. His brothers, Alafon and Geraint, were also poets.
