Administrative / Biographical History
Crumlin Navigation Colliery, Crumlin, Monmouthshire, now Caerphilly, was opened by Partridge, Jones & Company in 1907. The National Coal Board took over the colliery in 1947, following nationalisation and the mine continued to produce coal until c.1967.
