Administrative / Biographical History
Sir Edward Bayly was the only son and heir of Nicholas Bayly, Governor of Galway and the Isle of Arran in Ireland. He was created a Baronet of the Kingdom of Ireland in 1730 and died in 1741.
Sir Edward Bayly was succeeded by his son, Sir Nicholas Bayly and another son of his, Edward, became Archdeacon of Dublin.
