These records relate mainly to Packham's general political interests rather than his trade union career.

Administrative / Biographical History

In November 1950 Packham was appointed area officer of the London division of the National Union of Public Employees (NUPE). He subsequently worked in a number of other regional divisions and eventually became national officer for health. He retired in 1978 and died on 2 February 1995.
