Brian Wormald Papers

Scope and Content

The bulk of the papers relate to Wormald's academic career; in particular, there are loose notes and notebooks relating to his teaching and lecturing, and research notes and assorted drafts relating to his two major pieces of published work . There are very few personal papers or correspondence.

Arrangement

The papers were received in a state of disarray - many pages were loose and had become disordered; many were also very dirty and crumpled. It has not been possible in every case to accurately identify material or to distinguish sets of notes from each other. Much of the material is undated, particularly the notebooks and lecture and research notes. Many of the dates attributed at the point of cataloguing are provisional.
