A copy from 1701 of The originall & progress of Mahometanism supposedly written, c1673, by Henry Stubbe (or Stubs). The manuscript also contains An epistle from Achmet Benabdalba a learned Moor concerning the Xtian religion .

The Bodleian Library, Oxford University, holds an annotated copy of Henry Stubbs' Account of the rise and progress of Mahometanism , (Ref: MS Eng misc c309).
Conditions Governing Use
Copies may be made, subject to the condition of the original. Copying must be undertaken by the Palaeography Room staff, who will need a minimum of 24 hours to process requests.
Custodial History
The manuscript bears the bookplate of the Rev. John Disney, D. D. whose property was sold at Sotheby's in 1817. A gift of New College, Hampstead, 1960.
