Administrative / Biographical History

H. E. Rhll (b. 1898 in London) was in Lubeck studying German at the outbreak of War. Arrested and imprisoned on suspicion of spying in Dec. 1914 and later held as a British Civil Prisoner of War, he was interned at Ruhleben, 1916-1918, living in Barrack No. 4.
