Administrative / Biographical History

Young Farmers' Clubs (YFC) exist to promote the personal development of young people, aged 10 to 26, in rural areas and organise training programmes, schemes and events. Wales YFC comprises 170 clubs with 5,500 members, organised into 12 county federations; in Pembrokeshire, there were clubs in Fishguard and in Templeton. Templeton YFC undertook a research project into the history of the village in 1981.
