Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
TUCND was established in 1975 as the CND Trade Union Committee. In 1979 it became the Trade Union Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (TUCND). The committee aimed to develop support for nuclear disarmament among trade unionists on national and local levels. Affiliation was open to national unions/organisations and branches of these.
