Hugh Lloyd Parry (1865-1950) O.B.E., B.A., Ll.B., B.Sc. was raised in the town of Mold, Flintshire. He was an acquaintance of Daniel Owen, the novelist, with whom he was associated in the establishment of a local society for the study of Welsh literature.
