Administrative / Biographical History

The Surrey Bicycle Club was founded in 1933 as a private cycling club. Membership was initially by invitation and open to men only. The club was administered by a president, secretary and treasurer who were elected annually at the club's annual general meeting. The members of the club were also all members of the Cyclists' Touring Club.

Acquisition Information

This collection was deposited in the Centre by the National Cycle Archive, 22 July 1993. The minute book was donated to the NCA by Derek Roberts. Two programmes added Aug 2010, acc no 808.
