Scope and Content

Thomas Maylin of Sutton, gent, stands bound to Freeman Cawthorn of Chatteris, yeoman, in #126 to perform fully and honestly a surrender of even date of six acres of fen or marsh ground in Sutton North Fen, manor of Sutton, which Maylin purchased from John Wilkin in 1777, to the use of Cawthorn and his heirs. Completed printed bond, signed and sealed by Thomas Maylin in the presence of Thomas Custance snr and William Boon, duty stamps.
