Scope and Content

In order to establish her jointure, Rebecca Fox and her husband the Revd Richard Fox of Fleet, Lincolnshire (1st parties), release a messuage with malthouse, kilnhouse, and associated 18 acres in Fulbourn, Cambridgeshire, together with two cottages and 92 acres in Fen Drayton, Cambridgeshire, to the Revd Charles Beridge of Alder Church, Lincolnshire, and to Thomas Robert Gates of Spalding, Lincolnshire, gent (3rd parties) in trust for Fox during his life, remainder to Rebecca during her life, then to Fox's heirs. Covenant to levy fine to George Williamson, alderman of Stamford, Lincolnshire (2nd party). Lease: Doc 3808. Tripartite indenture of 2 membranes, signed and sealed by Richard and Rebecca Fox, witnessed by J Nowe [or Vowe?] and James Lenton; duty stamps.
