At a Court of Thomas Panton the younger, esq. held by Charles Martindale, gent., deputy steward of William Greaves Beaupre Bell, Chief Steward and it is enrolled that: James Bones of Castle Heddingham, Essex, clerk, eldest son and heir of James Bones late of Fen Ditton, Cambs., gent., deceased, and his executor...did out of Court surrender by the hands of William Curtis in the presence of Mary Bones, spinster, 2 customary tenants...all that messuage in Fen Ditton late Armstrong's and then in occupation of Richard Wildmow and William Matthews to the use of John Forlow, gent., of Cambridge, who being present...was admitted. Examined and signed by Charles Martindale, Dep. Steward.
