In consideration of an undisclosed sum, Alan atte Welle of Wynepol [Wimpole, Cambridgeshire], chaplain, confirms his gift to John le Soutere, also of Wimpole, of two selions arable land lying together in the south field of Wimpole, next to land of John de Wangeford and abutting to the south upon 'le constrate'. At Wimpole, deed poll, witnessed by Lawrence de Wratteworth, William de Wratteworth, Robert le Chauf, Geoffrey de Coulingge, Walter de Coulingge, and others. Pendant tagged white round seal with device showing two figures in profile, hand in hand. Endorsed in three sixteenth- and seventeenth-century hands: '8 E 3', 'Wimple', and ij sellyons'.
