Report on North Rhodesian mineral rights

Scope and Content

A History of the Mineral Rights of Northern Rhodesia', 2 vols: a report prepared by Maxwell Stamp Associates Ltd, on the instructions of the government of Northern Rhodesia in preparation for the negotiations for the purchase of mineral rights in 1964. A large team of Government officials and consultants worked on the project which was completed in January 1967.
Volume I is the History and volume II contains copies of relevant documents. In addition, there is an index of the files on mining rights in the National Archives of Zambia.

Access Information

Records are open to the public, subject to the overriding provisions of relevant legislation, including data protection laws.
