Sir Robert McAlpine & Sons (Birmingham) Ltd , civil engineering contractors, Birmingham, England, was incorporated as a limited liability company by the family partnership of Sir Robert McAlpine & Sons , civil engineering contractors, London, England, in 1931 with a share capital of £100,000. The company was established to take control of the parent companies civil engineering contract work in the Birmingham area of England while another McAlpine subsidiary, Sir Robert McAlpine & Sons (Midlands) Ltd dealt with contracts further north and in the north-west of England. Contracts dealt with by the company in the early 1940s included work at Hams Hall Power Station near Coleshill, Warwickshire, England. The company was still operating in 1946 .
