Notes, correspondence, press-cuttings and photographs relating to Sybil Lumb's work at the Goromonzi Secondary School, Rhodesia, 1940s-1950s. Much of the material is concerned with the development of African secondary education in Rhodesia.

Sybil Lumb was a history teacher in Rhodesia in the 1940s and 1950s, and worked in one of the first Rhodesian secondary schools for Africans. She wrote several historical textbooks.
