Administrative / Biographical History

In 1967  , William Lind, the grandson of the founder of William Lind & Co Ltd , quarry masters, Elderslie, Renfrewshire, Scotland, entered into partnership with W H Malcolm to form a new company, Loanhead Transport Ltd . This company provided goods haulage and included William Lind & Co Ltd as one of its customers. In 1988, the Malcolm family bought out William Lind's share in the business and, in 2002, the company was based in Brookfield, Johnstone, Renfrewshire.
