He bequeathes a certain sum to his daughter Luce Ind, a certain sum to his sister Luce at Stratford of Boe, a certain sum to his sister Jane Ryall, a certain sum to his cousin Stephen Read, a certain sum to his brother Humfrey Lownes, a certain sum to his cousin Humfrey Lownes the younger, a certain sum to be distributed in bread at his funeral, a certain sum to William Burbige, a certain sum to Ann Burbige wife of William Burbige, a certain sum to his brother Edward Orsen, a certain sum to his wife. He makes his wife and brother his executors. Witnesses: Edward Wolford, Richard Troughton. About half a dozen lines in the centre are illegible. Probate of the will (PCC) was granted in London 24 May 1622. There follows the will of Jane Swaite of Westwell, Oxfordshire. This is continued on the verso, and is mostly illegible. Another document follows, mostly illegible.
