Administrative / Biographical History

Formed in 1936, the Guild had 1,891 members in 1948 and nearly 4,000 members in 1969 when it amalgamated with the National Provincial Bank Staff Association and the Westminster Bank Guild in order to form the National Westminster Staff Association, covering a total membership of 23,502.
