Lecture texts (with slide prompts) and programme albums for slide lectures on inter-war continental cycle tours, given by Nevill Whall ("Hodites"), 1920s-1950s; photograph albums of cycling tours. Many are scanned and available on Warwick Digital Collections.

Neville Whall (who used the pseudonym Hodites) was assistant secretary of the Cyclists' Touring Club. He was active from the 1920s-1950s.

Acquisition Information

Neville Whall's lecture material was purchased by the National Cycle Archive at a Phillips auction, 5-6 December 1989, Lot 77. This collection was deposited in the Centre by the National Cycle Archive, 22 July 1993. Photograph albums and scrapbook despoited by the NCA (George Redgrave), April 2015.
