Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
Caernarfon Local Education Authority in 1926 passed a resolution to transfer Standard II and upwards from Penmorfa School to Tremadoc Council School. This resulted in vigorous protests, an appeal to the M.P. for Caernarfonshire and an eventual compromise.
In 1944 the future of Penmorfa School was again placed in jeopardy as a result of the Education Act of that year and its application by the L.E.A.
