Scope and Content

Abstract of John Varnam's title to the 'Bell and Chequer' and to lands in Croload and elsewhere in the manor of Chatteris Ramsey, Chatteris, summarising records of courts from 1677 to 1754. Two further sequences of abstracts also relating to land in Croload have been struck through, apparently by the compiler. Named parties are: 1. John Cooper (fl 1677) 2.
