Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
The FBFE was created in 2007, through a merger of two groups - the National Ecumenical Agency in Further Education and the Faiths in Further Education Forum. Its aim was to 'promote the concerns of faith and belief communities for the development of spirital and moral values in the Learning and Skills sector'. The organisation was run by a National Council, under the CEO, Dr John Wise, made up of regional officers and individuals form a range of faiths and beliefs across the UK. The charity was dissolved in 2017.
