Jessie Follett Osler (1869-1927) was born in West Bromwich, the daughter of Henry Follett Osler and his wife Eliza Rebecca (nee Kenrick). The family were glass manufacturers in the Birmingham area and were related to the Kenrick, the Chamberlain and Martineau families. The family were also benefactors of Birmingham University.
