Jane Howell (nee Cawthorn), widow, acknowledges that the legacy of #200 bequeathed to her by the will of her late father Philip Cawthorn and charged on estates devised to her brother John Cawthorn was duly paid to her soon after she came of age in 1836. Signed by Jane Howell, who has also added the 'six' to the date of her majority.
