Scope and Content

The album is titled 'Barnard Collection. Personalia. E. 1938-1942'. Into it have been pasted
a range of items concerning Barnard's antiquarian activities, including (a) press cuttings containing accounts of lectures given by him, reports of meetings that he attended, and letters written by him; (b) notices of lectures and programmes of meetings of the British Archaeological Association, British Association for the Advancement of Science, Cambridge Antiquarian Society, Cambridge Public Library, City of Ely Literary Society, Oxford Architectural & Historical Society, and Worcestershire Archaeological Society; (c) annual reports of Cambridge and County Folk Museum; (d) annual financial statements of the Society of Antiquaries; (e) notices and reviews of publications with which he was associated; and (f) letters to him from George Cadbury (2), Herbert Maurice Cashmore (2), Harry Evers Palfrey, Robert Gardner, Sir Robert Eric Wheeler, William Adlington Cadbury, Sir Charles Oman, Hugh Sadler Kingsford, Robert Martin Holland-Martin, 'H.C.' (or 'C.H.'), C. Percy Park, William T. Farncombe, J.F. Parker and Mrs Florence A. Keynes.
