Administrative / Biographical History

Neil Kensington Adam (d. 1973), FRS, FRIC, was educated at Winchester College and Trinity College, Cambridge. He was a Fellow of Trinity College, 1915-23; Royal Society Sorby Research Fellow at Sheffield University, 1921-9, and Professor of Chemistry at the University of Southampton, 1937-57.
