COLOURED POSTCARD: S.S. Cynfal and mountains from Beaumaris.

Administrative / Biographical History

The Steam ferry boat Cynfal was used as a tender to transfer passengers to and from the St Tudno (III) which had ceased calling at Beaumaris because of the difficulty of manoeuvring a screw ship alongside the pier. Experiment was not popular and was discontinued after a few weeks.
