Scope and Content

The collection is composed of letters to the Earl of Buchan on painting, art education and collecting in Edinburgh, and to Dr. Samual Holland on Queen Mary's seal ring, and to the sponsor of the Coypright Bill of the period.

Administrative / Biographical History

George Walker is described in the collection as having been a drawing master in Edinburgh.
