Administrative / Biographical History
Richard Joseph Adshead was born in Thames Ditton, Surrey, 18 February 1908. He lived in Canada (Alberta, then Vancouver Island), c. 1924-1940; Royal Canadian Artillery 1940-1946; worked for Pepsi-Cola in Uganda c. 1948-c.1956, Mauritius c. 1956-1960, and for Canada Dry in London 1960-1968. He then lived at Downtown, near Hordle, Hampshire, until his death at Lymington, 30 June 1998.
