Comprised of a small selection of biographical materials, important research materials (including Dixon's research notebooks), documentation of Dixon's time teaching at Cambridge, materials related to lectures and publications, documentation of Dixon's involvement with socities and organisations, and some of Dixon's correspondence. A significant part of the material relates to Dixon's scientific research; enzyme nomenclature work for the International Union of Biochemistry; and various editions of Enzymes, with E.C. Webb, 1958 (2nd ed. 1964; 3rd ed. 1979).

Acquisition Information
Received in March 1990 from Dr C.J.R. Thorne, Biochemistry Department, Cambridge.
MS Add.8823 G and H, a collection of offprints and a plaque, were transferred from the Department of Biochemistry, University of Cambridge, in February 2020, and were added to the catalogue in June 2021.
