Administrative / Biographical History

The York Cycle Rally was first held in 1945 as a get-together of Yorkshire CTC District Associations and became an annual event which grew in stature into a flagship CTC national event. It was cancelled in 2013 due to low advance trade bookings, after two successive years of poor weather on the event weekend and the York Cycle Show Committee was formally dissolved by the CTC Council.
