Administrative / Biographical History

In 1902, a Bill was presented to Parliament. It supported a scheme to supply the town and Urban District of Menai Bridge, Anglesey with water. Amongst those who petitioned against the Bill were the Marquess of Anglesey, Hon. C. H. Vivian of Plas Gwyn and Harry Clegg of Plas Llanfair. The Act received royal assent on the 8th of August 1902.
