  • Indenture between Albert Kennedy Beveridge of Windsor and Henry Beveridge of Kirkcaldy, concerning the settlement fund of Elizabeth Sarah Beveridge 1863, indenture between Henry Beveridge and Henry Beveridge, the younger, concerning the settlement fund of Elizabeth Sarah Beveridge 1865. Both indentures are on the same document

Administrative / Biographical History

Little is known of the Beveridge family or their business. Albert Kennedy Beveridge , a corporal in the Royal Horse Guards at Windsor, Berkshire, England, decided to go to New Zealand in 1863  and to cover his expenses he sold his indenture to his brother Henry Beveridge of Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland . Henry Beveridge passed on this indenture in turn to his son Henry in 1865  .
