Edward Lewis of East Bergholt bequeathes a certain sum apiece to his grandchildren William Cooper, George Cooper Mary Cooper and Ann Cooper; certain property to his granddaughter Mary Cooper; a certain sum to his granddaughter Mary Lewis, which is to go to his son Nathaniel Lewis should she die before becoming twenty-one; a certain sum to his grandson Joseph, which is to go to his son Nathaniel Lewis should Joseph Lewis die before becoming twenty-one; all his land freehold and copyhold and the residue of his estate to his son Nathaniel Lewis, whom he appoints executor. Witnesses: Samuel Cooper junior, William Cooper, William Pitt.
