Karol Lubinski, born in Berlin in 1890, was a Company Commander, 74th Infantry Regiment, serving on both the Eastern and Western Fronts. He later fled from Nazi Germany to Poland, Romania and France, before serving with the Polish Army on home defence duties in Scotland during the Second World War.
