Administrative / Biographical History
Broadway House Special School opened 30th June 1960 as a day placement Junior Training Centre administered by the Health Authority. The scool was the new set up for the occupation centre which had been meeting in Mount Pleasant Chapel's premises in Aberdyberthi Street since their own building at the Trinity schoolroom had been destryoed during the blitz. In 1986 the school closed and the pupils sent to Dyfatty Special School.
