Scope and Content

This diary was begun by Eileen Nugie as a young woman, shortly after her 21st birthday. She maintained a daily record for more than two years of her life as a young woman from a privileged social background. She enjoyed many outdoor pursuits, including fox hunting, tennis, fives, golf, hockey, cycling and walking.
